I work in the Accounting & Tax department of Roth & Company LLP, the largest Accounting Firm in Brooklyn. I have been given the framework to be able to grow in my tax expertise even as the tax laws keep changing. I am provided constant guidance from senior managers and tax reviewers who are reviewing my work, as well as continuing professional education from seminars within my firm to keep me up to date with the latest tax laws.
Roth & Company has given me experience with a large range of accounting & tax areas due to the variety of clients that they serve. This has helped me get familiar with many interesting tax situations, some of which I may not have learnt had I been working on my own.
Previously I worked at a firm in Manhattan, Weiss & Company LLP, which was my first step into public accounting. I also have been involved in private accounting, working in a financial/bookkeeping office as an assistant to the comptroller.
I graduated with an Accounting degree from Touro College, and then went on to pass the CPA exam which enabled me to pursue a career in public accounting.
